Last updated: October 29, 2025
1. Introduction
Pockly ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Pockly mobile application ("App").
2. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide
- Google Login data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google identifier (ID token) for authentication. We do not collect or store your Google password.
- User-provided content: Preferences or settings you create in the App are linked to your authenticated identity on our backend.
b. Automatically collected information
- Device details (model, OS, language, time zone)
- Usage and crash analytics (via Firebase, AppsFlyer)
- Advertising identifiers (via AdMob, if ads are displayed)
3. Advertising (AdMob and related networks)
The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers (Android Advertising ID / IDFA), app usage data, IP address, and approximate location to serve and measure ads. Ads may be personalized based on user interests or served as non-personalized.
User choices for ads
- You can opt out of personalized ads via Google’s Ads Settings or by resetting your device’s advertising ID.
- On Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track.”
- We do not sell personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Login — authentication only.
- Firebase — app backend, analytics, and crash reporting.
- AppsFlyer — analytics and attribution.
- AdMob — ad delivery and measurement.
- Embedded Video Services — the App may display public internet videos (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo). These services may collect device or usage data under their own privacy policies.

- Authenticate and maintain user sessions (Google Login).
- Operate and improve the App (Firebase, AppsFlyer).
- Deliver and measure ads (AdMob).
- Display publicly available media content (embedded videos).

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- With third-party processors (Firebase, AdMob, AppsFlyer) acting under data protection agreements.
- When required by law or to protect our rights or users.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers outside your country (e.g., Google Cloud). We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate protection in accordance with GDPR and other applicable laws.
